SLRR in Funan and MS Color in AMK (at the stalls near jubilee mall) are places to get good bargains and discounts on new Sony gear. If you go to MS Color, ask for Florence.

A lot of the sony alpha people also meet there for kopi regularly.

I would avoid them for accessories and Sony lenses LOL

Their filters are unusually overpriced. :p
Yeah. Strange isn't it.

But they are pretty good to us Canon and Nikon user though :)

I wouldn't know about filters because I don't normally use one, except for the ND filters which I bought from TK and 7day deal or something like that.

Yup. They get great margins on C and N stuff and sometimes the things that they (especially the assistant salesmen) say... *facepalm*

But I only bought a filter from them once - then realized how much cheaper it is elsewhere. :p

But I always get inconsistent prices at MS ... asked the one near Jubilee for a 46mm quoted $29. Went to the one at AMK hub, guy says $26

Try looking at the mass sale section. Usually you'll find some places with good accessories at very affordable prices. There is this CS guy called Hennessy who sells filters (collect off fu lu shou) at rather competitive prices.

Dry cabinet try SLR. Got a 36l for about $128
Dry box (Samurai F580) ... MS AMK Hub had it for about $30ish? Can't remember. Been a while.

And don't forget the B&S section! Lots of people selling various accessories. Got a few good buys from there.
