hi,

i am shopping for a video camera... budget video camera...
but need it to be much better than those video taken using digi cam...
i have a sony digicam that takes very decent videos, just the everytime limited by the memory stick, hence can't take videos for long stretch...

any recommendations would be appreciated...
btw, saw a JVC at $399 at HV.... why so cheap ah?

get what kind is better ? DV tape one or those DVD one?
if get those tapes one, is it difficult to convert to dvd/vcd format?

pls advise
thanks :)

If you can still get one - the JVC650A is pretty good - f1.2 max aperture.
DV tape has higher quality output over HDD and DVD units and it is easier to edit.
