recommendation of small tripod for taveling

need some advise whether any tripod that is small in size but able to support my 5D mark 2 with 24-70mm lens?

currently owned 1 but is "big" in size. so looking for a "smaller" version tripod if avaliable in market,

Perhaps you can head down to Tk photo and have a look at Sirui CF tripods, value for money!

Take a look at Velbon Ultra VOXi L :

Tripod can reached a height of 1.7m with center column not extended.
No doubt that max weight is 3.5Kg but doubt you will really exceed that load.

I had used on my D700+24-120F4 ===> No problem.

Suggest u go to take a look on the SIRUI tripod, compact n yet stable. Would recommend either T12xx or T22xx series depend how small u want.
