for my sony a200,

looking to go into macro lens but i went thru forum and some member were using

reverse lens , reverse ring etc.

only got the zoom kit lens which mean i can't do it :(

so i'm looking for any recommendation for my sony camera cos i'm quite into macro

thanks!

I would suggest that you save up for a dedicated macro lens. The Tamron 90mm or Sigma 70mm would be a good choice.

to satisfy your curiosity, just get a Close-up Ring of +3 or +4 and start shooting... should set you back about ... S$30? cheap way to get into macro without the heavy commitment of a true macro (like the EF100mm f/2.8!)

have fun...

From the start I got a teleconverter. Then a close up filter. Then I got a reverse ring adapter. Then I got some extension tubes. And in the end I finally got a macro lens.

Having a macro lens would probably make your life easier. The accessories can come by when u need more magnification.

i'm planning to have some fun on macro as well.
will be planning on getting a raynox DCR250, u check it out

how about third party bellows ?

Real close

how about third party bellows ?

Real close

It is bulky and unwieldy, stabilising, focusing, having the necessary lighting is a real b*$%h. Dun think you would wanna start out macro that way (first).
