Recommendation for short trip

Hi guys,

I'm planning to go on a short trip, F & E, with my gf in May.
Duration should be around 3 - 5 days.
Definitely not more than 5 days.
For budget wise, anything goes.


I'm thinking of Vietnam(Only heard of Ho Chi Minh, Philippines(Is it nice? Never heard of anyone going there for tour before.. haha), Thailand(Is it safe to go at the moment?), Indonesia..


Please reommend me on the place to go that'll be nice for 3 - 5 days.

If its Vietnam, try going to the north like Hanoi and Halong Bay. I heard its quite beautiful.

If you want a nice trip without the hustle and bustle of the city then try Hua Hin/Cha'am. Quite a nice getaway. Cheap food, friendly people and safe.

It's about a 3 hour drive from BKK but once you're there you'll think it's worth it. Need any other info just PM me.

For Hua Hin at least 3 nights cos getting there is quite a hustle. Or you could do Hua Hin 3 nights followed by BKK 1 night before flying back to Spore.
