Is the The Confused Photographer's Guide to Photographic Exposure and the
Simplified Zone System by Bahman Farzad any good ?

Any other book you'll recommend ?

There's a photography book store at Funan, can't remember the name, on first floor;p

Alternatively, Popular Book store at Bras Basah Complex, there is about one shelf of books on photography. Choice not as much as Funan one but Good thing is not many people there , so can take your time , browse and see which one you want.

I am reading Exposure and Lighting (Michael Meadhra , Charlotte K. Lowrie)..not too complex , just right for my newbie level

Yeah this is a really really really good book. And its available at the library for free !
I mean most books for exposure are good for beginners . But Bryan Peterson explains it in such a clear and concise matter , plus he shares in his book , on how he shot certain photos in details like the settings , the angle etc.

Its easy to understand and easy to read =) :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
