recommendation for compact camera(portrait photography)

Hello,i am curious about which camera perform the best in taking portrait.Is it the lx3 or canon g10,which is the 'king of compact'.Or is the superzoom camera?Can anyone recommend me a model?and why the model being ur choice.Thanks very much

no one recommen for g series?coz i rmb i watched a clip on youtube.some one actually showing how to use g7 to take professional portrait with a big canon flash.So i think it shouldnt be too bad for portrait.

well, both cams have a hotshoe mount so that opens up a whole new world of possibilites for creative lighting.. the longer zoom range of the G10 would also give a more flattering telephoto perspective..
