Recommendation for a PNS

I don't really know much about PNS cams.. but after reading around here, I've seen ppl recommending fujifilms or canon PNS cameras.

I'm helping my dad look for a camera. A camera that can take relatively clear pictures
Creativity does not matter, the camera would be used to take pictures for some documenting purpose.

any recommendations for camera models would help, new or 2nd-hand ones would do fine
