my first digital camera is nikon 2100 (2 megapixel).
i m currently using canon powershot A95 (5 megapixel).

i find the latter too bulky.
hoping to get another dig cam(5 megapixel or more).
is there any other good models/brands to recommend?
thanks in advance!

no need to think, just get the fujifilm F11 (6.3mpix, if it matters). best there is.

at ISO 1600, you can shoot day and night which nobody can beat.

I'm using it and I'm loving it! PM me if you intend to buy. I can bring you back to the shop which I bought from and ask for a good price for you. :D

Unless can wait for F30, ISO up to 3200.

my budget around 600+(exclude accessorry, eg:memory card).
brand can be panasonic, nikon, canon or others.

btw, if we compare panasonic lumix and fujifilm f11... which one is better ?

That price i recommend Canon PowerShot A610. Spend a bit more can get A620.

at 600+ the F11 can fit your wallet with a spare batt and 512mb card (included in the F11 package).

Lumix's answer to low light photography is it's OIS system which IMO not a very outstanding feature. From the advertisements you see on TV, i would say it is impossible to capture a person dancing with low light and freeze the dancer there.

Nothing beats the ability of high ISO giving you higher shutter speeds. Faster shutter speeds will freeze motion not OIS.

many thanks to the prompt replies! will head down to MS color to check out ;)
