Recommend nice restaurant in Bugis Junction

Anyone have a fav restaurant that's located at Bugis Junction?

It's for lunch. Price range: $30 per person. Preferably not Japanese.

maybe one of those ground floor eateries opposite giordano/converse....i only know how to eat at fast food, jp eatery, or just simply buy bread n 100plus & eat on the road

I like the Sony V8 movie cafe, food's great and is definitely within budget.

Why dun you try Ma Maison #02-51, it is very nice place also .... or you can also cross to Liang Seah and Purvis st, along the way all is food and resto. We eat there everyday hehehe

my personal choices would be crystal jade (not listed, newly opened in basement), Sanur, Sketches (DIY pasta factor).. Sushi (disqualified from your list), Swenson (usually go to airport...)... most quite ok really.

Ma Maison is Jap-styled western food... nv tried before

else you can try liang seah street across the road tho not sure if most of the restaurants open for lunch.
