For $500, you can check out the Sony/Casio. Most ladies like them due to their compactness & sleek design.

For the photo printer, check out Epson/Canon. There are some at Harvey Norman, you may want to take a look.

I would normally look for technically superior cameras for guys,
but since it's for a lady, look for one with sexy body design.
The ultra-slim Sony's comes to mind.

:thumbsup: Precisely why I recommended the Casio/Sony in my earlier post cos ladies normally will go for the design rather than the specs. My friend is very happy with her Sony T10.

For photo printer, do you print bigger than 4R. If not go for the Canon CP 720. Printing cost is only 30cents per pc.
