Recommend a compact: main criteria - movie mode shoot till card full

In addition, shoot in mpeg 4, and able to use the zoom while in movie mode. Not really interested in other features besides the cheapest possible price for this. Want to suggest to my company instead of those crappy mpeg-4 videocams. Price under 400 new? got?

hardly any digi cam can zoom while shooting movie..

I know the S2IS and S3IS can zoom when recording a movie.. but I don't think you can find one under 400 new.. maybe a 2nd hand S2?

other than S2/S3 there is a TZ1 and fz7... both priced slightly lower than the Canon. quality wise... i got no comment :bsmilie:

my mistake... fz7 can't zoom during movie, but tz1 is able to :thumbsup:
