Hi, i intent to buy a compacts camera to my gf, but i do not know much about compact camera, anyone have good suggestion? my budget is about sgd400

You are about the 100th "compact camera, budget about 400 SGD" thread. Please don't come here and expect to be spoonfed like a baby, be an adult and go do some research for yourself. There are SO many shops out there where you can look at a whole bunch of cameras and shortlist a few for researching.
