Recently there has been some really cheap offerings on B&S, with prices too good to be true. They claim their stuff are sold off within seconds. Typically, these sellers have less than 5 posts to their nicks.

Nikon F5, F6 sold for $200 and $400, respectively and in another case, mint used D700 for $2000 when market price is around $3100-3300.

Marketing tactic with a stroke of genius to tempt Canon users to change camp. :bsmilie:
That's a good one!
However if communication is Establish between buyer and seller, is all up to them to complete the deal, while later on people who are interested it will be good for the seller to inform them that the item has been sold.

same silly tricks.
sellers do the same, after buyers do the trick.
do a search.
lumix thread a FZ18 sold cheap fast. to push price down.
then same lumix thread FZ18 cam sold high fast. to push price up.
what a waste of time.

you can also advert a gold leica anniversary mint condition cam for $50 and then leave another message saying sold in seconds.
