yup... thermal paper. just make a photocopy of it.

The same goes for eastgear's receipt. Make photocopies and keep for warranty purpose.

Anything printed on thermal paper will fade in no time. This includes taxi receipts which I have suffer loses from claiming from my company:(

Photocopy of receipt is valid for warranty purpose ? Maybe they should issue written receipt like Cathay photos.. :(
yap i think they should .....then at least can keep longer then next time still can check how much u buy for and will be easier to sell.....mine faded in like just 2 months

If printed thermal paper is kept in direct sunlight eg. near windows, it will fade into nothing in much shorter time.

you can also ask them for a good old handwritten receipt :) even if you lost your original, you can ask them for a duplicate.

yes, one may ask for the good old receipt, but whether one gets it is another big question.
