ReadyBoost with thumb drive or CF card on vista

Anyone tried readyboost with Vista? Would like to know if there's any improvement if I have 1Gb DDR RAM (main system) with 1Gb scandisk titanium cruzer thumb drive.

By the way, any advice on the use of Ultra II speed with USB adapter in place of thumb drive? Is Ultra II CF card faster than a high speed thumb drive?

No reply, but anyway I tried using my Kingston DataTraveller II High Speed 1Gb thumb drive. No regrets doing that, literally improved my speed in browsing the web and files loading.
