Hi,

I just got my hands on my K20D after a month of waiting, but after some experience with my friends' Canon models, it just sounds weird when clicking the shutter. Does anyone have a recording of how theirs sounds like, or a link to a website?

Thanks!

i find that canon shutter sounds are qt weird!

Mine is like a shotgun when using Single but quieter when using Continuous High....at least that how it sounds like to me.

i don't really care what the shutter sounds like

so long as it's not too loud. :)

Pentax shutter sounds "be interesting".....

There's this photog standing next to me & he wonder-out loud "Aren't you shooting?" and I smiled wickedly at him...

There's this other photog squatting next to me below the stage & he switched on the confirmation beep on his flagship monster & wonder-out loud "Now I'm sure...".... so are the audiences.

Its better to check camera without a lens mount & look inside mirror-box while tripping shutter. Use 1/4 or 1/15 & trip over & again to see & hear if there's any differences in lapse time.

Still not sure? Use the same method mentioned, cover body with white body-cap, trip shutter over & again & preview pixs on PC screen.
