Raw image problem in photoshop cs3

Hi guys, i was trying to open raw images in photoshop, to my surprise ACR show images which are different from viewing in raw. any ideas whats wrong? The differences is really alot, i.e color and details are loss. Thanks if someone can help

You need to update your RAW files.

I believe that you are using the latest camera.

I don't understand. You're comparing images as they appear in ACR with the same images as the appear ... where? In what application?

Sounds as if you see the embedded low-quality jpg file instead of the RAW data. Update ACR so that it can recognize the RAW data.
