(1) Get a water-proof housing
(2) Get a weather-proof rain coat

Hmmm.. I suggest using the similar UW housing for scuba diving...
It's fully water-tight and full feature accessibilities. ;)
But pocket sure to burn 1 big hole... :D

Can also consider getting one of those single-use disposable waterproof cameras, around $20.

ge the sony waterproof camera !!
huh? sony has waterproof cameras?

the smartest thing to do may be to shoot using an underwater setup. at least you can access all buttons and still not be worried for the dear camera taking a drench. of course, if it's for a slr, the u/w casing is gonna cost 4 digit alone... :p

Hey yeah, could u post the details of the rave?
i take photos and write reviews for JUICE magazine, so if the rave party sounds good i might want to do an article.
