Rare Banded Leaf Monkeys sighted!!

Spotted along lower peirce trail today. :bigeyes:
They were fast and travel among the canopies top like gibbons! :bigeyes:
Could hardy catch up with them..:sweat:

Good work! You managed to still some shots of this rarely seen monkey. Is this animal native to singapore?

It is a very sad thing that the authorities have no interest to take measures to save these monkeys from becoming extinct in years to come. It is goes off from here, this sub species will disappear from this world. I guess these creatures have no economical values and thus the authorities are not interested to save them.

:( :( tough luck, leaf monkeys...:( :(
i believe the over populated long-tailed macaques also play a huge role.
they are threatening the timid and shy leaf monkeys...,
occupying huge sectors of the reserves, leaving little rooms for timids.
so... pls... do not feed them....
dun let their populations explode anymore.:sweat:
