Macross Frontier
A big surprise hit for me.
It has all (ALL) the elements that made Macross franchise popular - Valkyries (Shoji Kawamori's back!), transformable Monster, Cheyenne Destroid (the new Tomahawk + Defender rolled into one), babes, cool songs, stunning soundtrack (Kanno Yoko~!), Love triangle, babes, ghost fighters (short lived) and of course the Aliens.

Initially felt that its a rip off of old material, but they just keep on throwing us loads of the great stuff. And I thought nothing could be better than Macross Plus.

The soundtrack even has 'concert versions' which has great atmosphere. (unfortunately songs still have bubblegum lyrics, part of the tradition). And yes I voted for Sheryl Nome too :lovegrin:

ya, u satelite link to japan then now they already have subs built in during transmission...
