have any of you people met with drivers on the ECP (Changi Airport) who jam their brakes just after Benjamin Sheares bridge?

for sure, there is a big speed camera there, but it's pointed in the direction of ECP (City). many of these idiots who drive at fast on the ECP (changi airport) and jam brakes till 70kmh at that particular area are just waiting to cause a traffic accident.

Even Glen Ong doesn't know that the camera only points in one direction.

He was rambling on radio the other day and I didn't want to waste 30cts to correct him... :bsmilie: And yes, it's DAMN irritating for these buggers who are ignorant.

& one fine day, they will switch it around .....

If they do, they'll have to drop the speed limit of the camera to 70 instead of 80 on the other side.... :bsmilie:

not really, there are MOBILE speed camera at the end of the slope, to shoot at vehicles going towards Changi (TP hidden behind bush some more)

They are more dangerous because no flash needed, so you will never know whether u were caught until few weeks later.

Also, heard that the tolerant of such mobile speed camera is lesser than those fixed one.

so if you ever see lots of vehicles jam brake at the same time, better slow down before it is too late

OT a bit about speeding and sudden brakes on expressway.

How about those cars on normal roads that, all of a sudden, swerve from the bus lane into the adjacent lane bcoz they realise there's a LTA officer standing along the road with a cute little camera.. encounter quite a few times while on a bus.
