Rainy Days

Took this photo from the balcony of my house while it was raining.
Just trying to experiment with light and capturing rainfall.

Not very good at capturing abstract and still lifes and perhaps this picture isnt as impactful as it is supposed to be.

hi, ur photo doesn't really work for me and i can't really put my finger as to why..:dunno:

but anyways here are some of my opinion...
composition is really not bad at all, i'd say good..:thumbsup:
b&W doesn't really work for this pic
your pic doesn't really emphasize the rain as per ur title my eyes kinda got attracted to the train...(hahahaha kinda rhyming rain and train...:bsmilie

my suggestion on how it could have been is
forget b&w..go color
slower shutter speed to catch the train whizz by giving sometimes nice,unique color renditions
but...shutter speed shouldn't be so slow untill that the falling raindrops creates a blur effect.. donno wether its possible or simply forget the rain....:bsmilie:

Haha yeah i agree that the essence of rain wasnt really captured well. Perhaps i shall try again next time when the rain is heaveir *lol*.
