gone.... my d40 is gone.... it fell off my bag from a height of abt 1.2 meters. it hitthe ground hard.lense first then body. the camera can be switch on but it wunt snap any pictures, it wunt focus, worst still, i cant even change the settings. i feel like the cameraless photographer with a flash.

even worst, i have shoot coming up. 'nice' timing -_-

for my dearly departed nikon d40

this is my camera, there are many like it, but this one is mine.
without my camera, i am nothing. without me, my camera is nothing.
i'll always keep my camera clean and ready, as i am always clean and ready.
before god i swear this creed. my camera and i will shoot everything worth capturing.
we are the masters of our photos, we are the saviors of my life.
so help us god.

So it was a deliberate drop......................
well it wasnt leh, i nearly cried when i saw it dropped right before my eyes:cry:

and the timing couldnt even be better, just used up most of my savings into setting up a business, now, no more money to buy new camera till a few more months leh.......

oh well, life goes on.... without any camera.....

You seem very happy that you droppped your camera...

Think you're good at letting go and move forward. Either that or you're really happy that you can get a new camera. :bsmilie:
