Depends on the ballhead you have. Other than arca-swiss compatible ballheads which use the arca swiss standard of quick release plates, other qr plates are proprietary, that is, only the qr plate that came with the ballhead (or extra QR plates made by the ballhead manufacturer) will fit.

CP carry a third party brand call UN quickshoe that is suitable for compacts. wouldn't suggest the UN for dslr. a manfrotto quick release holder and plate is more suitable for dslr.
