Hi
A newbie and my first post :)

I read from some mags that photos shot in Vietnam must be developed in the country itself. And also there will be problem bringing out the negatives (without resorting to under table transaction)

I wonder if anyone is able to confirm if that's the current scenrio now.

And what about Digital cameras?

Thanks!

I had friends who came back from Vietnam several months back. Didn't hear them complaining about not being able to bring their negatives out of the country.

;) Hi,
you can bring lots of negatives in and bring all that film out.

they are not as strict as you think they might be in a communist country. One advice though, keep your camera from sight as theft is quite common there and any flashy stuff will immediately gather lots of attention.
