Question on UV filter

Hi guys I know many uses UV filters to protect the lens, however there are some queries that I like to find out. Will UV filter degrade the pictures taken?

1) Do you still put on the UV filters during Night Shots?
2) When using a wide angle or tele convertor, do you remove or attact the UV filter together?
3) do you remove the UV filter or use it in conjunction with other filters?

i put it on.. and never took it out ever since.. other then to clean out some dust that some how crept inside..

3) shouldn't use it with other filters, will vignette (dark corners in photos)

My UV filters are always on my lenses....as a form of protection of the front glass elements.
