Can somebody explain what's the diagonal angle of view means in a panoramic camera ?

Like in Widelux it's 140 degree compared to 135 in Noblex.

I've got the terms Horizontal and vertical angle of view explained in:
http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/pan_35mm.htm

but not the diagonal angle.

Thanks in advance
