Hi,

I've bought the 4500 not long ago and find it not performing well under low light condition. Its internal flash is also a bit weak.

Any recommendation on how to improve on that?

I was thinking of getting external flash but I saw the optional bracket is pretty bulky. Any other option available?

BTW, is it possible to increase its internal buffer?

I'm pretty new in photography and so all the help will be greatly appreciated. :bwhat:

Go into the menu setup and set the AF to "Single AF". Always focus-lock before shooting by half-pressing the shutter button.

The only way to add external flash to the Coolpix 4500 is via the SK-E900 or equivalent bracket. Internal flashes on ANY camera is usually less than ideal except for fill-in purposes.
