after i convert raw to jpg file, its almost near 8mb, even i resize it to 1024x683 still need nearly 700kb, can i get a pic which have 1024x683 and the file size less than 500k? :think:

if you're using photoshop, press alt+shift+cntrl+s to "save for web"

Thanks, although it cant resize as small as i wish, but i discover one thing from your suggestion

what quality jpeg do you output it to?

maybe you can try lowering the quality of the jpeg to about 8?

in the "save for web" dialog box, you can still compromise on quality to shrink the file size further

use save as web function, select a highest compression setting without losing image quality.

ya you are right, use best quality, size will be around 600k, if i chose to very high quality, reduce to less than 300k already , thanks
