Can I push provia 100 to 200 or even 400 ? How much push can provia 100 takes. Advise pls as I need some fast slide films for today evening but don't have the time to go down to Penisular Plaza.

usually the inside of the provia box will tell u how much it can be pushed

like for provia 400F

it says that it can tolerate up to 3.5 stops thats ISO 4800 max i think

tho i don't think u should push it that far

so maybe provia 100 can push up to 400 or so with tolerable grain.

check the inside of the box

hope this helps

Can anyone who uses boxed Provia 100F and 400F confirm what's on the boxes?

Thanks.

hi since u asked,

i went to dig up my provia box in the dustbin

ok here's what it says for provia 400F

"this film yields good results for exposures made from EI400 to EI3200 and can be exposed at EI4800"

unfortunately there's nothing in the provia 100 box that says it can be pushed

but i've pushed to 200 before and it's still fine.

Thanks for your trouble, it is much appreciated. I use bulk Provia, so no box. :)
