here are some of my newbie shots from ubin last weekend. didn't manage to shoot much cos was too tired from all the cycling and finding the path to puaka hill, the highest point on the island at 75m.

photos are in chronological order

even at ubin, the skyline of the CBD is still visible with the 3 280m buildings clearly seen!

where the vegetation meets the water. due to the rising water levels in the lake, trees at the edge would be flooded with water and gradually die off.

be careful of the steep cliff. one wrong step could send u plumetting down into the lake

I like #10.
My own opinion, those leaves on the right is a bit distracting. Crop it off will be better. :bsmilie:
 

Pretty nice series of pics here although i feel that a few had a little too much clutter in the foreground (#1, #10 ?)
