What is BAK2u?
BAK2u is a Lost & Found service that makes it easy for good Samaritans to return your valued items when misplaced, here in Singapore or anywhere in the world. Items like cameras, laptops, mobile phones, mp3 players, PDAs, thumbdrives and portable HDD etc are lost everyday.

The finder will just need to visit the website http://www.bak2u.com to report or call a toll free number with the label's Unique ID numbers. The valued items will be promptly pick up and return to the owner.

Steps to purchasing Bak2U Equipment Pack
1. Register your interest in purchasing BAK2u Equipment Packs (4 labels per pack) using the Registration form here.

2. Make payment by one of these two methods :-

5. Please allow 7-10 working days for delivery of item after receipt of payment.

Have received some queries on how the BAK2u packs will be sent out.

We will be sending the packs out via Singapore Post which is generally pretty reliable. But in the event the package does not reach the recipient (of course, the intended recipient should also inform us that he has not received his/her pack), we will :-

a) inform BAK2u to invalidate the serial numbers for the lost-in-transit pack(s) - all serial numbers for the packs are already recorded by us and will be tracked against which member purchased.
b) resend a new pack with new serial numbers

Hi to all the members of Clubsnap.

We appreciate that some of you wrote to us asking about the chances of recovery and if possible break down the percentage too.

Each label covers 36 mths of protection for the device you pasted on.

Based on our lost and found from operation (Jan 2005) till date, it is around 76% based on the total no. of report lost, matching the total no. of item found back to the owners.

Items that are common misplaced are in public transports like cabs, buses, mrt trains and in public places like washrooms, fast food restaurants, dinning restaurants, cinemas and even in car parks. From Straits Times, just mobilephones itself, there are about 5000 lost and found. Either by the next passengers or the drivers themselves. Take note, this is only mobilephones and do not include other items like cameras, bags, wallets, luggage etc

When an item is found, the finder can just call the toll free no. on the labels and we will contact the owner immediately, here in Singapore or overseas. Arrangement will be made to collect the items (after verifications) and deliver back to the owner (anywhere in the world). For overseas, DHL International will cover the logistics.

The owner can opt to give a cash rewards to the finder too of any amount, which BAK2u.com also will give 5 packs of BAK2u Duo Packs as a rewards to the finder too.

At times, it is not just the cost of the items but the data inside that may be priceless when recovered back.
