Need to do some photo shooting on floor tiles , glass blocks and small tools.

What kind of equipment to acquire ? eg ,tent
Techniques for shooting.

Any advise will appreciated.

Glass blocks .... wow .... you need a lot of skill and lighting compensation for that. Product shots is not as simple as just buying the best equipment to shoot. I suggest you go for some courses on product shooting or get a professional product photographer to shoot it.

depends on your layout lah... you wanna have what kinda background... for tents, mostly is for shadowless or plain background.

techniques... hmm... tripod, macro lens, light meter, 3 strobe, remote release... u know it adds up to what already...

btw shooting glass blocks, depends on the size, preferably using a tent, since it will reflect all the surroundings... den place lights to have a white reflection so when capturing, it will not reflect the side of the tent.
