they are not counted as a prosumer camera,

still under compacts.
pls enlighten me... on why they are not considered as prosumer when lx3 have shutter pirority mode, aperture pirority mode and manual mode... and many other function tat fz28 have

there is no standard definition of a prosumer,

and to me,

a prosumer, is one which tries to emulate a DSLR but is not a DSLR.

the LX3 in this case does not, hence is not classified under prosumer.

if you like to think it's prosumer, go ahead and think it is:)

The only set back with the LX3 is the 2.5X zoom and weak flash.
