Saw an earlier post on macro lenses & reminds me of my problem faced sometime ago on fixing a Tamron Adaptall P/KA Adapter with the legendary 90mm macro lens on the K7.
The issue here is the aperture value is not reflected despite all mechanism working perfectly, be it in Maunal or Av mode.
This will solve the mystery. All it takes is 1 minute... & probably will work on all your Tamron lenses too... while I'm happy with 90mm.
