Hi guys,

I have noticed that some mp3 that I transferred to my player can't play. This means that when the player selects those songs to play, I end up listening to silence.
The mp3s are playing ok on my laptop.

Anyone has any idea what's wrong?
Is it
1) mp3 error
2) file got corrupted during transfer
3) player has error
4) any others....

TIA!

Nopes, tried tuning up the volume...but still nothing.

Have also flashed to the latest firmware posted on their website.

If the file is a WMA (not mp3) and is encoded in very high bitrate, it will not play, cos it's meant to be played on the PC.

The other possibility could be copyright problem.

if u suspect its the file's problem, dump the file into a converter/editor prgram such as Audacity and just re-export the whole thing out as a new 128kbps mp3 file. the the new file will be legit to play. if this new legit mp3 file put inside the player and play got nothing..then problem lies wif the player
