need recommendation for a good home printer, prefer mid -to- high end. budget max $1k. as long as it can print nice A3 or A4 glossy photos can already. sorry i dunno much of printers

Try R1800. Now about $1058 from shops. Someone in BnS was selling it unopened at around $900+

R1800 is Epson. Canon has no Pixma (the newer range) of A3 printers. If you want to see an independant reviewer, go to www.photo-i.co.uk. He also reviewed the HP printer IIRC

I just did a quite check on the HP 8750. The cost of the carts will kill!
