print all you want.
petal hood or round hood you choose.

you lens doesn't come with hood?
then go and print one.

hood lost?
print another one.

hood too soft?
buy cardboard and print on it.

print many many and keep in the bag.

they're not accurate...the hood doesn't match up with the OEM one hahah

anyway, as cheap as i am - i don't think i'd ever want to be seen with a paper hood on my lens. and if i were to sling my camera to my side, i'm sure the paper would just crumple against me.

If you cut out the shape from a printed paper template and use that to mark it out on some stiff black plastic sheet (eg from an old plastic file) it should work quite well.

I usually leave the lens hood on my lenses so as to avoid having to put the lens cap on and off. I don't have a hood for the 10-22, so a round one will come in pretty useful.
