WHAT is a Print Exchange ?

A Print Exchange is a gathering of photographers who will EACH bring along ONE print of his OWN WORK (of a stated minimum size OR larger) of that event's stated THEME for

1. common sharing and viewing
2. exchange with another participant's print

It is also an event meant to and yes ... of course .... an excuse .... to make new friends and network among photographers

(You guys have been attending ALOT of CS events but seldome mix or mingle around before or after a talk ..... so this time CS is doing this to get more crowd interaction)

as courtesy just need to inform early lor

working sat mornings so unable to reach in time =(
but just asking in case next time can join... any minimum paper quality for the print? like if print the B&W picture on plain paper using laser printer can qualify?

haizz how to answer this properly ?

Do show up please if you have put your name down .... the consequence of flying aeroplane is actually double here because some poor fella will end up empty handed if an absentee causes an odd total number of participants

The aim is that someone takes home your print and vice versa you bring home someone's print .... and in the process you guys get to know each other better through talking and interacting with the person who made the image you're bringing home

Give me a couple of days notice if you cant make it... its ok . But Aeroplane flyers are the ones i worry about because they disappoint not just the organizers but fellow peers and participants as well

yes thanks for bringing this up ..... a participant should not embarass him/herself and his/her work in front of others by bringing an image printed on a piece of photstat paper ..... respect your work

Prints should be 240 GSM weight material or heavier have respect and pride in your work

 oops haven't printed anything better than on 'photo quality paper' myself, and only printed 8R photos years ago when the shop gave vouchers after developing many photos with them
