These monsters has arrived early hours of this morning...managed to captured under the cover of the night. Noticed the front & tail sections are taken apart as was told it was too long for transportation.

lifestyle1881, these are NOT F1 cars.

Not expert in F1.
Yes you are right Canew...come to think of it...as it looks a bit smaller than the one i see at shopping malls and petrol stations. Most people working there think these are F1....and they were expecting around 60+ (guess these are the real ones expected to come in soon). Just confirmed my F1 experts is that these are most probably the replicate models for promotions, etc...

These are what you can expect from the back of the stadium view (at Connaught grandstand) with the night lighting. It is very bright in most places.

This is the driver view down the circuit...

With fence barrier everywhere. How to take pics thru the fence? Surely AF-tracking will be confused by the mesh/fence posts. Pre-focussing will be a hit & miss affair.

I suppose those on walkabout tickets can get up close to the fence & blur away the mesh with big aperture(F1.4/1.8?). Those seated at the grandstand will have a hard time trying to pan for a shot.

Any tips from experts here?

I saw at some places the seats are higher up, starting from above the fence height, are those more expensive? Those won't be blocked.

Can provide your exposure/ISO settings and shutter speed for these pics so we have an idea of what to expect.

Agree with you there....will be a lot of hit & misses.
Even the walkabout tickets, you will have another small gate barrier (see pics at top) in front (about 1m) of the taller barrier so you will not have opportunities to poke your lens thru the gate (which btw is possible except for large f300 2.8 lenses).
