Just the other day, I was emptying my pocket of loose change when I noticed an unusual coin.

On closer inspection, it turns out to be a PRC coin that very strongly resembles our 1-dollar coin, being of the same colour and being only slightly smaller.

This must have been handed over to me as change for a purchase and I must have probably not noticed the difference.

When I mentioned this to a Sheng Siong cashier, she confirmed that there are many of these coins in circulation and that her management has warned them all to be on the lookout for a PRC coin that looks like our 50-cent coin.

Please pass this on to all your friends and relatives.

Tried twice to download images, but not successful.

Can anyone tell me how?

No, they are still in my harddisk, in a folder.

You need to upload the pictures to a server. Suggest that you try uploading to your gallery space in CS.
So Sori.

I am a Flickr member, but did not want to upload these images there.

Now, I have joined photobucket and uploaded them there.

Will explore ur suggestion of using the gallery space at cs.

wah, instant depreciation 10x...

Someone passed me a Thai coin for change too a few months ago. Unfortunately, I did not realize it until several days later. It is almost the same size as either the Singapore 10 or 20 cents coin (I forgot which).
