From what i know, the monocular onli fits those dc that have very small lens barrel like the coolpix series.

Better check the website for it's listed compatibility with dc before buying.

Most of these scopes are designed only for use with cameras such as the Nikon 9xx series with 37mm lenss or less.

If used on your C730, what you see will be similar to what you get through a telescope, black all round with just a circular view in the center.

Ckcpower is supposedly working on a bigger one for larger lens cameras, but I doubt its ready yet.
