H holidaydom New Member Aug 18, 2006 941 0 0 Apr 6, 2009 #3 The 50mm F2.0 Macro is a beautiful portrait lens. The 50-200 F2.8-F3.5 is pretty good too. Don't discount the SIGMA 105mm f2.8 as well. I feel anything that can give you F4 and below between 50mm=100mm will do well as a portrat lens.

Using an OM-4/3 adapter, it will give u 2X focal length. It a cheaper alternative. Try it, quality not bad BUT no auto-focus. Last edited: May 7, 2009

Click to expand... I'll answer that,though mine is not SWD,i still use it for portraits to get those closeup shots or extreme close up,pretty good,bokeh is there too
