Portait / Close up shots

Hi all,

i just got my hands on D60 with the standard kit lens. As i saw some threads (can't rem from which section) posting that certain lenses are very good for close up shots (models lar!). Those lenses with "L" series.

Anyone can enlighten me?

ermm. Sorry but 'L' lenses are for canon, not your Nikon D60. Usually you should go for prime lenses for potraits but your D60 cannot AF with primes, i think. Hope this helps.
