Seriously, I would look at file transfer speeds, versatility, future upgrades and reliability.

Why not have a look at the Nexto CF or the PD70X from compact drive? Both are available from East Gear. I currently have the PD70X and it works great!! Runs on AA Batteries, good operation life, reliable operation and extremely fast - 2 GB in 2 mins!!

I believe the PD70x is already a matured product and the Nexto CF is heralded as the next great successor - 2 way USB operation, USB input, etc. You can have any USB card reader and it will work just fine. Backing up is no longer confined to the built-in card readers.

The 2.5" HD is replaceable - so no worrries here!!! When the product grows old, you still have the 2.5" HD for re-use.
