answer is the third choice.

e.g. you may have a 600mm F4L lens on tripod.
You actually remove the cam body away from it.

But if you have a 50mm F1.8 lens on the camera then you remove the lens from the body.

The next poll will be "Do you press the shutter release button into the body or press the body into the button" hohoho

WHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHHAAH!!!

WAHHHAHAHAHAHA!! that reply is irritatinggggg!!hahaha!

Always face body downwards, stand-by lens with lens cap removed & in ready-to-mount position, then quickly take out body cap with left hand, and immediately mount the lens onto the body :]

erm...for me, it depends on the mass of the lens/body

if Mbody > Mlens , i twist the lens :)

if Mlens > Mbody , i twist the body :D

if Mbody = Mlens , i twist both! ;p

Hhahhaa. There should be an option to close your own threads

Twist lens...because must follow the white dot on the lens to make sure it's align with the white dot on body

I hold the lens and cam on both hands and twist myself.

WOW! you twist yourself while holding lens & cam on both hands ... amazing ...

Like Daedalus, i sometimes twist both the body and the lens!

Oh. My. Gosh.

THIS THREAD IS STILL ALIVE?!

Anyway, now that I have a 70-200, and when I use it on a tripod (with tripod ring), I twist the body.
