Point & Shoot with good macro capability

Hi, I would appreciate any advice for such a camera, no budget limited. As I'm buying it for company usage.

As for macro function, the size of subject would be around a S$1 coin. I would prefer possibility of manual control. Please note that DSLR is not in favour.

I have in mind Lumix LX-2, as my current FX7 is doing a good job, but since company is willing to pay, so time to buy!

Lumix LX-2 is pretty good,I ever used it to capture a housefly without any attachment,pure camera and manual focus,can see the eye,lol,other than that,I have yet to find another PnS camera with manual functions that has good macro

Personally for macro, I like cameras with a range of 1cm for macro - Sony T-series, Canon A-Series, G-Series, I'm not sure of the other brands.
