Meeting place: Somewhere nearby. Tanglin Mall Macdonald.
What to Bring: The weapon of your choice... Lumix Sniper Rifle prefered.

Would like to know where is the best place since for the Theme stated.

If the theme is Macro, it leads me to think of shooting insects, bugs, and flower or leaves... Hmmm wonder our Lumix Master of Macro will be present to give us some inspiration talk...??

I think most of the guys had went to the Labourdor Pack recently... but not much macro shots from that outing was produce... Personally, I suggest PLUG #2 we should go to Fort Canning Park for the shooting session.

Base on experience, it will be quite dark in the late afternoon or evening, therefore, I suggest that we will go for the shooting outing first when we meet at 2pm, then follow by our usual chit chat session at nearby Funan Mac.

Just my suggestion, the rest please comments.

There are a few places I would recommend for Macro photography:

1) AMK West Park
2) AH: Alexandra Hospital Butterfly trail
3) Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve
4) SBG: Botanical Gardens
5) Marina South Park

These are places where I found many opportunities....not too sure about Fort Canning though.....

Hmm....botanical garden is good. I vote for botanical garden or AMK. See which one more accessible to the rest.
