Pls Recommend Compact With Following Wish-List

I am looking for a compact digicam with the following capabilities and I hope you guys can help recommend me one:

1) About 6-8 mega pixels (do not need more)
2) About 4-6X (or more) optical zoom, starting at 28mm preferrably.
3) High ISO capability like the Finepix F30
4) Some image-stabilizing capability like Canon IS (other than bumping up the ISO)
5) Face-recognition technology
6) Swivelling LCD if possible
7) Hot shoe for ext flash if possible
8) Quick startup and shutter response time

Anyone has any recommendations?

Canon G7 probably is the closest. ISO performance is not as good as F30 though.

OK, the swivel screen is good to have but not critical. More important are:

1) Good high ISO capability like F30
2) Face recognition technology
3) Image Stabilizing capability
4) About 4-6X optical zoom
5) Quick shutter response

The other 3 are good to have but not essential. Any recommendations?

Wat abt FZ7/FZ30?

I have read the reviews on both these cams. The specs are pretty impressive, but their image quality is not so hot
Both have poor performance with high ISO.

I am not familiar with all the brands out there, so I am open to recommendations of other brands e.g. Sony, Kodak, Minolta etc.

the Fuji S6500 fits the bill perfectly
